About Jane
Jane Weiser Ed.D., R.N., I.B.C.L.C., is Certified as a Lactation Consultant, Childbirth Educator, and an Infant Massage Instructor. For more than 30 years, Dr. Weiser has utilized a personalized approach to enable mothers, fathers, and newborns to achieve a successful breastfeeding experience. Her specific areas of focus include premature infants, multiples, low milk supply, an
d suck difficulties. Prior to 1989, Jane earned two Masters Degrees and a Doctor of Education in Nursing from Columbia University, Teacher’s College. Jane has extensive experience as a hospital-based and private lactation consultant in the NY metropolitan area. Dr. Weiser has published extensively and has been featured in both print media and television. Jane has also had the pleasure of raising two breastfed daughters of her own.
